The Society leads the study of the Postal History and Usages of the 2nd Anglo-Boer War 1899-1902.
Much material exists which has not yet been fully researched.
Many members also collect memorabilia of the War, which were very popular at the time; including silver, china, prisoners’ artefacts, books, postcards, ephemera etc.
The Society holds regular meetings in London and Leamington (for details see About the Society), produces a quarterly journal and has published a number of handbooks on various aspects of the philately of the War (see Publications).
The extensive Society library is available to members.
