ABOUT THE SOCIETY
Membership
The Anglo-Boer War Philatelic Society was founded in 1957. During its first year, 41 members, some of whom are still members, paid a subscription of 7/6d.
We now have about 160 members world wide with a subscription of £20.00 (United Kingdom), £25.00 (rest of Europe) and £30.00 (rest of the world). Overseas members may elect to receive the Anglo Boer War Philatelist as a pdf file (no printed copy) by e-mail and pay the United Kingdom rate.
The Anglo Boer War Philatelist
‘The Anglo-Boer War Philatelist’ is published four times a year (March, June, September and December).

Auctions
Postal Bid Auctions are held regularly. Almost all items are individually described. There is a 10% sellers commission to the Society with no buyers premium charged.

A Convention, comprising Members’ Displays and a Room Auction, is held in conjunction with the A.G.M.
Spring and Autumn meetings are held in London and at other locations in Southern England.
